ISCR 3rd Autumn Conference 2022 - Current Landscape of Clinical Research in India - Future Readiness

Highlights: Advancement in clinical research has logarithmically increased in recent years due to the use of novel and breakthrough technologies. The landscape of clinical research is undergoing swift change from traditional to virtual model as trials are getting compacted and are now including more remote elements. The growing use of electronic health records, telehealth platforms, eSource platforms, medication management systems, mobile applications and wearable devices offers significant promise for transforming clinical trials, making them more pragmatic and efficient. Both research sites and sponsors are exploring ways to leverage technology to make the most impact on their organizations and research with an increased focus on a positive patient experience to make participation less of a burden on patients. There is also a growing need for enhancement of skills across various domains in clinical research, changes in processes and a deeper collaboration across all key stakeholders.
